The Detroit Zoo and the Michigan Humane Society, in collaboration with several local animal welfare organizations, will host the 19th annual spring Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo May 19th and 20th , 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The event is the nation’s largest off-site companion-animal adoption program.  Hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available for immediate adoption to loving homes both days.

Need a quick snack that'll save you time in the kitchen? Try this sweet and salty treat made with pretzels, Hershey Kisses, and M&Ms. It's super easy!



Preheat your oven to 275 degrees; in the meantime, put Hershey's Kisses on top of mini pretzel twists. Stick them in the oven for 3-5 minutes; the chocolate should be soft but still have its shape.
