These are Macaroni KID Lake Orion - Rochester Hills - Oxford's picks for five things to do with kids this week. Click on the links for all the details:


1. Michigan’s Largest Antique & Vintage Markets!
This weekend head to Springfield Oaks County Park in Davisburg for Michigan’s Largest Antique & Vintage Markets! Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-4pm. Hundreds of dealers with acres of amazing treasures. Food trucks, car show, tons of fun for everyone! Don't miss it! 


2. Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market Opening Day
Opening Day festivities will include:

• FREE Farmers’ Market Tote Bags with special offers from Downtown Rochester businesses and farmers’ market vendors for the first 500 adult customers (A giveaway for the kids, while supplies last).

• In honor of the market’s anniversary, 25 lucky tote bag receipts will receive $25 in Market Bucks Redeemable with any farmers’ market vendor this season.

• Live music from 10 am – Noon.

• For Walk, Bike & Roll to School Week, Ascension Providence will be giving away FREE children’s bike helmets (while supplies last).

• Enter-to-win for gift certificates donated by Downtown Rochester businesses. 

The market features locally grown or made food products including vegetables, fruits, fresh cut flowers, herbs, bake goods, gnocchi, jams and jellies, honey, maple syrup, tea blends, locally roasted coffee and various local purveyors of products including eggs, beef, and chicken. The Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market is presented by Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. 


3. Little Lit - Sessions at 10am & 11am
Head to Orion Township Public Library Tuesday morning for a storytime for all ages! Children ages 0-5 and their families are invited for stories, songs, and activities that promote the five staple early literacy practices: reading, writing, singing, talking, and playing! Limit 20 children.

 

4. Friday Night fLip Out
Friday night, drop your kids (9+) off at fLipSpot to flip, jump, and play open-gym style! This event happens each week at both locations - Lake Orion & Rochester! 


5. Jumperoo at Urban Air-Oxford
Jumperoo is a special time where Urban Air is open only for children 5 & under! They open up the park just for the little ones and their parents to jump, bounce and crawl around safely! Grippy Socks are required (you can bring your own or purchase some there) and a signed waiver. Jumperoo is each Tuesday and Friday morning from 10am-12pm!
